It aims to produce experts capable of managing and supervising the fisheries industry, which is an essential sector for supplying the nation’s primary protein source. The fisheries industry must continue to be promoted and managed better, as it contributes 53% of the national protein requirement.
Aquatic Invertebrate Biology, Fisheries Biostatistics, Aquatic Botany, Fish Population Dynamics, Ecophysiology of Aquatic Organisms, Aquatic Ecology, Ichthyology, Food Safety and Quality in Seafood, Aquatic Organism Health, Aquatic Environmental Microbiology, Aquatic Product Processing, Principles of Navigation and Seamanship, Fisheries Science, Techniques for Aquatic Resource Exploitation, Fishing Gear Technology.
